Resource Sharing
To advance infertility research, the Reproductive Medicine Network (RMN) has decided to share resources (samples and data) with investigators at large. A flow chart of requesting the resources is available. Investigators need to submit a Review Form together with their research proposal to rmn-RADA@masal.med.yale.edu. Reviews of requests take place on the quarterly basis, and a decision letter will be sent to the requesting investigators immediately after the decision is made.
The RMN resources will be provided based on the availability of the resources, the priority of the RMN mission, and the scientific significance assessed by an external scientific review (i.e. NIH study section), and the evidence of secured funding by the requesting investigators. Before samples and/or data can be released, the requesting investigators must sign a User Agreement to the Data Coordination Center of RMN. The investigators are encouraged to review the description of the currently available data before proceeding with their requests.
The requesting investigators must cover all costs associated with their requests including, but not limited to, shipping specimen and preparing data files. These costs can be difficult to estimated, and we will make best attempts to provide contacting information to the investigators.
These policies apply to all investigators whether or not they are RMN investigators.
